Home Free Shelter

"90-95% of domestic violence victims are women" --1994 Bureau of Justice

Home Free shelter opened its doors in September of 1980. We have housed over 500 women and children each year since then. Home Free can house 30-35 women and children, who can stay up to 30 days at the shelter. The shelter is staffed by women's and children's advocates who provide support and other services to the families during their stay.
