Community Programs

Home Free Community Programs provide services in Northwest Hennepin County for over 1200 battered women and their children each year. The 16 cities we cover are Brooklyn Park, New Hope, Golden Valley, Plymouth, Corcoran, Dayton, Greenfield, Hanover, Hassan, Independence, Loretto, Maple Plain, Medicine Lake, Medina, Osseo, Rogers.

Community advocates provide support and information as well as:

  • Assistance in filing and obtaining Orders for Protection
  • Provide court advocacy and transportation for civil and criminal cases.
  • Provide community education and training
